Nowadays is it still uncharted territory? Where really is the world's end? Armenia is one of those places that remain mysterious; we know neither the location nor the story perfectly. Like melancholy poetry it seems to be forever attached to its ancestral heritage, beautiful and sometimes chaotic. Yet today, Armenia is turning a new page of its centuries-old book. It has been independent for twenty-five years, after fifteen centuries of domination and three thousand years of existence. Out of the ruins of communism, the Armenian society is rediscovering itself, drawing up new projects for the future and trying to fight its way despite the maze of time.
